For many messes, an all-purpose cleaner will do. Sometimes you just need some extra cleaning power to help cut through the grease and those burnt-on messes. That’s where degreasers come in handy, especially in the kitchen.
You can use degreasers on most surfaces, like food preparation areas, oven hoods, pots and pans, stove tops, and countertops. But make sure you check the product label first! Never mix the degreaser with other cleaning products.
You’ll typically just spray on the surface and give it a minute or two to penetrate the heavily soiled surface. Then wipe with a cloth, sponge or paper towel. After wiping up a food contact surface, rinse the surface with water.
When finished using the product, make sure it’s stored out of sight and reach of children.
